Stimulating My Mind
Being intentional about my thoughts and attitudes.

1. Our Minds Have Limits

2. Our Minds Should Not Be Idolized
1 Cor. 3:18-20
18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight...

3. Our Minds Can Be Hurt
Romans 1:21-23
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools ...

4. Our Minds Are to Be Used
Acts 17:1-3 (Thessalonian Jews)
2As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead.

5. Our Minds Are to Mature and Be Stimulated

5. Our Minds Are to Be Directed
Phil. 4:8-9
